Our clients include individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities and their families. We also consult with the organizations that provide supportive services to these individuals. Our services are billed on an hourly rate. AdaptABLE for LIFE is committed to value based pricing.
Services available to individuals or organizations are as follows:
Independent Living Specialists
Activity prescriptions to increase physical activity with confidence- Long term care planning
- In home health monitoring technology and self-care products
- Caregiver coaching in the areas of mobility and daily care
- Coordination of resources to ease burden on family members
- Managing transitions from nursing facilities to home
When coached and trained, caregivers can do more than keep a watchful eye; they can build strength, prevent hospitalizations, and maintain dignity.
Accessibility Services
We are licensed occupational therapy specialists, recognized in 2008 by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as being the “qualified profession” to assess a client’s current abilities and future needs and make home remodeling recommendations.
Our services are all inclusive. The first appointment includes a meeting with you and your loved ones to identify how the living space will be used.
The next appointment is an onsite visit. A CAPS certified occupational therapist meets with the client to assess his/her needs as well as the the possible environmental/design modifications.
If a home remodel solution is identified, we continue with our general contractor to design the space, obtain permitting, purchase products and begin construction. In cases where home remodeling may not be feasible, AdaptABLE for LIFE will specify the necessary equipment and provide training to caregivers as needed to make the home more safe.

There is not a once size fits all approach to equipment. AdaptABLE for LIFE will assist with selecting the proper equipment to aid caregivers and clients in remaining independent and managing emergency situations effectively.
