Accessibility Specialist

We are licensed occupational therapy specialists, recognized in 2008 by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as being the “qualified profession” to assess a client’s current abilities and future needs and make home modification recommendations.

Our first appointment includes a discussion with you and your loved one discussing how the the living space will be used.  On the next appointment, an occupational therapist meets with the client in person and assess his/her abilities.  From there, the home environment is assessed and and photos are taken.  Lastly a list of recommendations and resources are provided to help you prioritize the home recommendations.   Further appointments are usually made to help you and your family coordinate services and oversight of construction projects.
